A pharmacist and entrepreneur, Ervin Pierstorf grew his family’s pharmacy in Cleveland into a multimillion dollar photo developing company that was the regional developer for Kodak. His business success and modest lifestyle enabled him to establish a significant college scholarship fund at Ohio Northern University, which he considered his “adopted” alma mater after Case Western Reserve closed its school of pharmacy.
